Beverley De Gale awarded OBE

I am slightly late posting this but the co-founder of the African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust Beverley De Gale has been awarded with an OBE. Congratulations to her and her family and the ACLT that do an amazing job. I am sure her belated son Daniel, who inspired this charity would have been proud. ACLT recently overcame a funding shortfall without government help. So any recognition they receive they have earned it.
The below excerpt is from the charities website:
Saturday June 11th 2011 marks the day that co-founder of leading UK Leukaemia charity, African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust (ACLT), Beverley De-Gale, is awarded with an OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire) in the Queen's Birthday 2011 Honours List by the Prime Minister and Cabinet Secretary in recognition For services to Healthcare.
